North
Korea Investigative Mission Trip 2001
Occupation:
Devotee to inner-city and foreign missions
How I became
a Christian: I grew up in the church but it wasn't until I was
15 years old that I committed my life to Christ. I was at a summer
retreat at church and I felt God asking me to follow Him all the
days of my life. After I made that decision to follow Him I felt
indescribable peace and happiness. And God has been faithful ever
since!
How did
I become interested in North Korea: While I was studying in
South Korea, I heard so many reports of famine and people dying
in North Korea. My heart went out to them. I started doing research
and eventually wrote a paper on North Korea. One night while praying
for North Korea, God showed me a vision of what needed to be done
and it's been on my heart ever since.
What gives
me joy: Drinking smoothies, going to the beach and having good
talk.
