FAQ
Q:
"Why has NK Missions set up their own group instead of joining
a more established group (e.g. Cornerstone Ministries, etc) that
has a lot of resources and experience?"
A:
Preparation. There aren't many groups out there preparing for
the collapse of North Korea (which we believe can be any day).
If NK collapses we're in big trouble because we don't have the
infrastucture to quickly mobilize, train and send people. Also,
we don't have the resources invested in preparation (i.e., knowledge
of sharing the gospel with NK people, language, pyschology, sociology,
etc.). Cornerstone and most other ministries are not focused on
mass mobilization and preparation for a NK collapse. We value
and respect other NK ministries and are in cooperative dialogue
with such groups as Cornerstone. For more detailed background
info on NK Missions, read the thesis, "Re-examining NK Missions"
found at http://www.nkmissions.com/training_center.
Q: What kind of resources does NK Missions have in China to coordinate
trips and gain entry into NK once the doors open?
A:
We've got contacts in NE China. We're actually in the brainstorming/planning
process for another trip there
this time to perhaps live with
NK refugees for a week or two.
